A: No, that is my darling who took the picture and then worked on it in the computer, but I have made the little drawings on the inside of the cover. It is precisely as if you have made a present and want to wrap it yourself. I haven't done it all on my own, but I have placed a lot of myself in it.

Johnny likes our Absinthe!One week prior to Green Bohemia's launch we received a call from Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp, in Britain to shoot his latest film, Sleepy Hollow. It turns out that the screen icon is a right little absinthiste, and was eager to get his hands on a bottle before trekking out to Aspen to meet up with Fear & Loathing author and all round nutter, Hunter S Thompson. When in Rome, as they say.
Unfortunately, our first consignment of bottles was still in transit from the Hill's distillery in the Czech Republic. But not wanting to come between a star and his emerald nectar, we promised to get him a bottle's worth from the company directors' half-depleted personal supply. Then, as the actor's limousine raced to our Camden office, we received news of the shipment's arrival at our secret Hertfordshire HQ. Undeterred, Johnny directed the limo northwards. Absinthe will do that to a man.
Like that scene in Goodfellas, we were soon handing a bottle through Mr Depp's blacked-out car window. His driver had just enough time to tell us that it had been the most bizarre day of his working life before whisking his charge off to a private jet. Very rock and roll.
Preferential treatment? You bet. But after all, he was our first customer.
