The Johnny Depp Effect
or
how he has changed my life
page 2

From Arnelle, aka deppraved, a forever fan
HI,

I have been a Johnny Depp admirer for all of the 20 years he has been in the
film and television industry. I distinctly remember noticing the cute guy in
Nightmare On Elm Street, and rubbernecked at the tv whenever an ad spot for
21 Jump Street came on, even though I never watched the show. But I was not
obsessed with him until Pirates of the Caribbean. It started out slowly,
from watching the movie every chance I got, to reading up on all the
interviews and articles over the years, to watching all his old movies, to
posting on the internet, to writing poetry about him, to collecting pictures
of him.

I can't honestly say he has changed my life, other than the new obsessive
behavior ( a bit disruptive, I'm an adult with responsibilities ), but it
has resulted in a new improved attitude.

Let me explain. I now greet most days with a happy feeling. I have more
self-confidence. I feel sexier, for some reason. I am so turned on, I feel
like I've found a libido I have not had for years. I've got my MOJO back! I
have a new appreciation for how much I love my husband, after 20 years of
marriage. I feel like I am reborn, in a sense. I have tapped into my
creativity, I am resolved to try to be my best as much as I can. If this is
the result of my mid-life "crisis", I can't complain! I just want to thank
Johnny Depp and his beauty, his inner as well as outer beauty and spirit,
and his incredible talent and integrity, for making me feel so good about
myself. It makes for a lot more good days in my life, and I can better brush
off the small stuff that would otherwise get in the way.

God bless Johnny Depp.
